The sessions we offer in schools and our one to one support for children always involves psycho education on the “fight flight and freeze response” and helps children identify how their body reacts to perceived threats. We have created a range of age appropriate resources and practical activities to help children recognise when they are experiencing the affects from this hormonal and physiological change. We then move on to ways they can manage some of the difficult responses which often result in young people becoming overwhelmed, anxious, withdrawn or angry.
